The Trash Hunter is designed to clean up floating debris from harbours, rivers and other waterways plagued with unsightly navigational hazards, rescuing waterways and making them safe for public use. With their twin catamaran hulls, Trash Hunters easily retrieve a wide variety of manmade and organic floating debris including litres, used tires, discarded clothes, religious wastes, leaves, timber, branches, logs, packing discards etc.
As the debris is collected, it is conveyed on board and stored in the generous storage hold area. Complete instrumentation and hydrostatic hydraulics enable a single operator to manage all functions of the Trash Hunter without coming into direct contact with it. With swift rotation system and a strong water jet, it is a taskmaster in hunting, dislodging and skilful skimming of trash in the surface, subsurface, corners and under-pier areas.
Depending on the size and capacity, Trash Hunter Boats are propelled by hydraulically driven paddle-wheels and are capable of collecting up to 1200 cubic feet (34 cubic meters) of floating debris per load.
Built in Stainless Steel it is idle for salt or brackish waters. The innovative vessel solves marine problems in ports, cities and coastal areas which are susceptible to harsher elements.
